Such a fab experience! From the initial warm and friendly hello from Gloria until the goodbyes after all work was completed. Ralph, Jack, and their team are extremely experienced and helpful. I booked a slot for my Springer for a week in the summer to do the blacking and service my Nanni engine, and ended up staying at P&S Marine for three weeks to repair some cheeky holes (they also found some under the water line!…), get old paint and rust removed from the sides, and paint my lovely boat. Their wide knowledge and skills, hardworking, flexibility, and kindness were blessings and a saviour! A big thanx to each and every one of them for being such amazing human beings and workers! I've been to a several marina's along the Grand Union Canal over the last 17 years and I have only recently started to use P&S Marine. If I'd have come to P&S first I would never have gone anywhere else. Ralph is honest and fair, and his team are experienced, approachable and work to a high standard. I would recommend P& S to any boat owner on the cut!

The team is wonderful to be around, very helpful, persistent, and interesting to talk to. Gloria is an addition since my last visit, and has made P&S an even brighter light! Excellent crane yard for working your hull. Cool calm casual staff on hand to answer any questions. Paint rollers available to use, DIY the bitumen or P&S can be booked to do it all for you. Living on board was good, secure parking and great access to Watford town centre or Croxley village. Boats are pressure washed before they go to hard stand, so no crunching around on rotting algae or shells. Cradles are a good height for working underneath and painting the baseplate. Highly recommend. Booking was quick and hassle free with a sensible priced deposit. Would definitely use again.

Adding another well deserved 5/5 here for P&S. My first ever time blacking the boat, went for DIY option and can't speak highly enough of Jack, Ralph and the whole crew. Everyone is so knowledgeable and approachable, it was a very smooth and stress free experience, and 100% will be booking there again next time blacking is due. And a fun/surreal adventure still living in the boat but up a ladder!

P&S is the best! We've been there for blacking a couple of years ago and were beyond impressed by the expert knowledge and kindness or Ralph and his team. More recently, we've been back to P&S who sourced and replaced our engine - see photo of our new engine levitating towards the boat. It was a big job and took a while but we cruised away knowing everything is solid! You can really trust these guys and you know they won't cut any corners! First class blacking! I took the advice to black to the gunnels and I love it. Ralph, Jack and the crew also sorted out the tunnel band on the stern. I cannot fault the whole process, booking was easy, questions answered immediately. Paperwork a doddle. Ralph and the team are superb. My boat was out and blacked in less than a week. Small amounts of pitting was fixed and sealed in no time. The yard is always busy with lots of boaters choosing this yard above many others. I will always be bringing my boat back here. No matter how far away I am.
