A really nice social place. Everyone is welcome. The beer is good - Abbot is the 'house' beer. Active cricket, rugby, darts, bowls and tennis sections. Sport shown on 4 screens.

Visited for a family party. We don't live in the area and had never been before, but it was a basic sports club venue. Also other members of the public were allowed in who had nothing to do with the party. Toilet facilities in serious need of updating. Outside area was okay, but drab and run down. I certainly wouldn't choose to book or go here, but it was lovely to see family we'd not seen for a few years, which was our reason for being there.

AVOID AVOID AVOID..
Not even worth 1 star.. we became members of a social club that advertises a club for everyone. We have 3 girls under 5 years old who are incredibly well behaved and courteous, with a genuinely fun nature. On our 2nd visit we were aggressively verbally accosted by a member who stated "this is not a creche and little children were not welcome".. subsequently we left and have asked for our membership to be cancelled and refunded.. we are not only angry about the confrontation, but also disappointed in the attitude of existing members toward new members. I would categorically encourage any potential clients who are considering frequenting this club or considering becoming members to avoid the club altogether. What an absolute disgrace for a so called family friendly community driven establishment !!!!!!!!!

BEST PARTY EVER!! Hosted by The Guild for my recent birthday. Live covers band, great buffet, amazing bar prices & brilliant service by the staff. I would highly recommend for any event. Still buzzing a week later! Thank you The Guild!

I had my 40th birthday here and it worked really well as a venue. We brought own food and decorations and hired a DJ. The Guild provided good communication in run to to the party and great service on the night.
